The recipe for dieci pizza
dieci brings italianità a casa. We use authentic products from family-run Italian companies from Lombardy to Puglia. For instance, the pelati in our tomato sauce are San Marzano tomatoes, ripened under the Italian sun. Other key ingredients like mozzarella, ricotta, prosciutto, bresaola and olive oil are also sourced from top-quality Italian companies.
Simple recipes packed with flavour
At dieci, we’re always refining our recipes. For our pizza dough, we collaborated with Birmenstorf-based Lindmühle AG to develop our own blend of flours made from Swiss grains – what we call our “dieci farina speciale”. Our pizza dough consists of five simple ingredients: flour, water, yeast, olive oil and sea salt, making it perfectly suitable for vegetarians and vegans alike. And we turn the pelati into our dieci tomato sauce with a pinch of salt, pepper, olive oil and fresh basil – zero additives and no unnecessary sugar.
The mark of our pizzaiolos
All told, almost five million pizzas make their way across the counter at dieci branches each year. And there’s one motto we always adhere to: a good pizza is the mark of an experienced pizzaiolo. That’s why our pizza dough is prepared fresh every day in each individual branch before being left to rest for 24 to 36 hours. Our pizzaiolos also make the tomato sauce fresh every day to preserve the desired flavour and acidity.
Smart delivery for flawless quality
Our pizza couriers deliver dieci pizzas so they’re warm and crispy – thanks to an ingenious delivery process. The pizza boxes have holes in the right places and a corrugated insert to ensure heat circulates perfectly. If your order includes toppings that don’t stand up well to heat, like rocket, prosciutto, smoked salmon or bresaola, we’ll always deliver them in a separate container – to make sure every single ingredient on your pizza is top quality.
