Our Pizza Trenta is a rustic, authentic pizza close in origins to the revolutione mondiale di pizza.
Two simple and honest ingredients have won the honour of topping our anniversary pizza: first, the authentic potato, carefully grown in the soils at Rocco’s farm in Rapperswil. And then the cime di rapa (turnip tips) which is farmed primarily in the South Italian provinces of Campania and Apulia. This is a classic Italian vegetable which is known as a delicatezza among connoisseurs outside of Italy. Our cime di rapa is blanched, marinated in the finest oil and spiced with fresh peperoncini.
A light and creamy layer of gorgonzola (AOP) completes the flavour of the pizza – for a quality flavour.
With its unique combination of two vegetables on cheese, the Pizza Trenta is a hearty winter pizza, the Italian answer to fondue and raclette.
